Your first agent in ten minutes

You need an account and the address of a website, or a few paragraphs of text. Nothing to install.

1. Create the agent#

On Agents, choose Create agent. Give it a name and say what it is for. The use case is a declaration, not a formality: agents for recruitment, credit scoring or healthcare are high-risk under the EU AI Act and cannot be created here. Why.

2. Give it something to know#

Open Sources and pick one:

• Website: enter your address. The agent reads every page it can reach on that site. A large site takes minutes, and you can leave the page while it works.
• Files: PDF, DOCX, TXT or MD.
• Text or Q&A: type or paste what it should know.

A source is usable once it says Ready. Websites explains what the crawler reads and what it skips.

3. Ask it something#

Open the Playground and ask what a visitor would ask. Under each answer you see its confidence and the sources it used. Ask one thing your content does not cover, too: a good agent says it does not know.

Test questions cost credits like real ones. A handful is enough. More about the Playground.

4. Tell it how to behave#

Under Settings, the instructions set tone and scope: who it speaks for, how formal it is, when it should point to a person. Facts do not belong there. If an answer is wrong because something is missing, add a source instead. Writing instructions.

5. Put it on your site#

Deploy gives you one script tag. Paste it before </body> on every page where the chat bubble should appear. Then list your own site under Allowed domains, so the agent cannot be embedded anywhere else. Install the widget.

6. Look again next week#

The Overview shows what people really asked, and the list Worth adding to your sources at the bottom of it is your to-do list. Most agents get good in the second week, not the first. Fixing weak answers.

Tip. If you use Claude Code or Cursor, you can have it do all of the above for you. Make an API key under Settings and paste the command shown there. Connect an assistant.
